I don't know about you, but it's hard to eat healthy. It can be expensive and time consuming. It's so much cheaper and easier to grab a quick hamburger at a drive-thru or open a can of soup and heat it up than to buy and prepare fresh veggies and other healthy meals. I love fruits and vegetables and salads and all that. BUT. I am just saying eating not so healthy is easier. Plus sometimes healthy foods are not as tasty as the unhealthy foods. Until now.
Lean Cuisine has a new collection of Lean Cuisine Honestly Good meals and man are they so good. No. I am serious. I especially loved the Honey Citrus Chicken. The sauce is incredible and goes perfectly with the pasta and chicken. You add the sauce yourself so it doesn't get everything all gooshy like other meals can.
They also have other varieties like Lemongrass Salmon, Pineapple Black Pepper Beef, Plum Ginger Grain-Crusted Fish, Pomegranate Chicken and Roasted Red Pepper Chicken.
Guess what else? You can pronounce every ingredient. They are all natural with no preservatives. Win!
I made a trip to Target (oh I love that place) to pick up my Honestly Good meals. They had all six varieties and I will totally be making another trip to pick up some more.
Together with their farmers (woot for farmers! My husband is a farmer), they're donating a potion of the vegetables grown for Lean Cuisine Honestly Good meals to local communities.
I love taking walks. Where I live, it's very rural and so beautiful, especially this time of year. Exercise is not my favorite thing to do. Especially when I know it's exercise. But walking, hiking, swimming, and other fun activities I can handle. Look at my view...
How can I stay indoors when I have this to look at and surround me? I also try my best to drink plenty of water and eat healthy snacks. I love pistachios and cashews and the protein in them helps my hunger fix between meals. By swapping out my normal lunch with a Lean Cuisine Honestly Good each day, I can be happy knowing I am eating something that is good for me and not full of chemicals and weird stuff I can't pronounce. And it's easy!
